I build the operations that let high-growth companies scale, and now I do it with AI in the loop. Over six years at Amira Learning I grew with the company from $0 to $80M in ARR and from a handful of people to 220+, across three roles: VP of Customer Success, SVP of Operations, and now Chief of Staff. Somewhere in there I stopped being only an operator and became an AI-native one.

That's the shortest way to say what I am: an AI-native operations executive.

It's not a small distinction. Operators have always been force multipliers, turning strategy into systems and making sure the hard things get done. Agents change the math. An operator who puts them to work on the coordination, the reporting, and the institutional memory runs circles around one still doing it by hand.

The operator underneath

The AI part only matters because the operating is real. At Amira I built the customer success, sales operations, and talent functions from scratch. I took customer success from one person to twenty and its P&L from $2M to $11M. I rebuilt talent acquisition and cut time-to-hire from 93 days to 36. When we acquired a 270-person company into our 55-person one, I ran the operational integration and took $631K of FTE-associated run-rate cost out in four months. The through-line every time: take something ambiguous and expensive, make it a system, make the outcome repeatable.

The AI part, honestly

Most companies use AI in silos, everyone prompting off their own documents with no shared source of truth. I'm building the alternative at Amira: a company brain, one place where the knowledge of how we serve customers lives, that agents can draw from. It is also why I think the chief of staff role is turning into a VP of AI. We consolidated scattered enablement knowledge into one indexed source with Claude Code and a set of agents, so the team can ask for anything and get it back in seconds. It's early, but it's live, and I scoped and drove it. The hard part was never the tooling. It was getting leaders in a room to agree on the rules the agents follow. That's operator work, pointed at agents.

How I got here

I started as a Teach For America corps member in South Los Angeles and was a founding leader at Gabriella Charter School, later named California's Charter School of the Year. A decade in education taught me what I still believe: a strategy is only as good as the system underneath it. I move fast, value clarity over consensus theater, and would rather ship a v1 and measure it than debate hypotheticals for a month. MS, Stanford GSB.

Let's connect

I write about operations, scaling, and what agentic AI is starting to change about how companies run. If that's your world too, or you just want to compare notes on building the systems behind a fast-growing company, I'd like to hear from you.

Say hello.
